Turkey Hill Ham Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
For the Ham Loaf
- 1 1/2 lbs. ground, cured ham
- 2/3 lb. fresh pork
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
For the Glaze
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
Directions
A favorite Lancaster County meat loaf recipe using a delicious combination of cured ham and pork.
Ham Loaf: Combine meats, crumbs, pepper, eggs, and milk and mix thoroughly. Form into loaf, making a trough through top of loaf. Pour glaze into trough on ham loaf. Bake at 350° for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Baste occasionally with glaze.
Glaze: Combine all ingredients and mix well.
